Rosie Dyer says, "Rowse Fishing boats are our main suppliers
and gives us continuity of supply throughout the year. There are times when the
winter gales prevent the cove men in their much smaller boats from setting out to
sea to haul their pots". "The bigger boats can work through the harsh winter weather that has so shaped and formed the unique character of the Cornish coastline and its people over the centuries." |
Rowse Fishing Ltd is owned and run by husband
and wife team Mark and Emma Rowse, trading for a period of 16 years, supplying
crab and lobster to both local and international markets. The West Cornish coastline is famous for its picturesque harbours and small fishing coves like Penberth, Porthgwarra and Lamorna. We also source live crab and lobster from the small, ususally single-handed day boats that work from these secluded coves.

Emma Rowse explains, "We pride ourselves on the fact that our fish is caught in a sustainable way and also has complete traceability. We can provide details of the vessels from which our fish is landed, dates caught/landed and the fishing area in which it was caught.
